Talehay offers four comfortable dog friendly stone built cottages sleeping up to 10 in total and allowing up to 2 dogs in each. Overlooking open countryside in one of Cornwall’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Situated within a complex of other cottages. The cottages with the catchment of Looe. They are tastefully furnished with all of the things you expect to find plus those little extras that make your stay so very special. We personally supervise the cottages to assure the highest standards of comfort and cleanliness. THE LODGE Self-Catering Sleeps 2 + Cot/Z Bed. The Lodge is a bright spacious open plan studio cottage with separate bathroom and a touch of luxury.

THE COACH Self-Catering Sleeps 2 + Cot/Z Bed. The Coach provides accommodation all on one level. This detached cottage has uninterrupted views over open countryside.

THE BARN Self-Catering Sleeps 2 + Cot/Z Bed. Barn cottage provides a lounge/diner and kitchen at ground floor and a double bedroom.

OWL COTTAGE Self-Catering Sleeps 4. Owl cottage provides a lounge/diner and kitchen at ground floor and a double bedroom and twin room..

The dog friendly cottages  are set within a complex yet they are private and peaceful, and with fabulous walks on your doorstep. All cottages are supplied with their own picnic table and seating area as well as benefiting from the use of the communal gardens and 3 acre field to exercise your dog. The converted stone built cottages and farm house retain much character and provide very well specified and tastefully furnished accommodation around a central courtyard. The cottages are situated in spacious communal gardens with lawned areas, ideal for picnics, barbecues and safe for children to play. To the rear of the main house is a further three and a half acres of fully enclosed meadow which is also available for guest’s recreational use. Electric vehicle charging available. Pets & children welcome.

Local Area -The village of Pelynt of medieval origin is 1 mile away, with 2 convenience stores, butchers, a pleasant pub, Anglican and Methodist churches, Doctors surgery and Social club. The cottages provide an excellent to explore the magnificent Cornish coastline with it’s coves and breath taking views. 2 miles from the ancient fishing village of Looe and the smugglers fishing village of Polperro. 20 mins from the Eden project, many National Trust attractions including Lanhydrock as well as other attractions like Lost Gardens of Heligan. Sailing, fishing, diving, golf and riding are all available nearby. Bodmin Moor & Dartmoor are a short drive away for dog friendly walks and hikes and the SW coastal paths offers wonderful views
