Just half a mile south, the charming hamlet of Flatford, a favorite of the painter John Constable, serves as a fantastic launching point for exploring the surrounding Constable Country. The Stour Valley boasts miles of serene countryside to wander, with the magnificent Dedham Vale National Landscape just a couple of miles to the west. Local attractions like Colchester Zoo, the Munnings Art Museum, Alton Water Sports Centre, and the ancient Old Knobbley in Mistley are all within a 15-mile radius.

This bright and inviting open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is perfect for relaxation, with natural light streaming in through the folding glass doors on one side of the room. The cheerful lounge features a Smart TV, wood burner, and ample comfortable seating, complemented by a delightful dining area in one corner and a fully equipped kitchen opposite.

Continuing through the lodge, you'll find a refreshing shower room alongside two tastefully decorated bedrooms: a charming double and a stylish twin. The patio doors from the main living area open onto a lovely deck that wraps around the property, where you can enjoy a hot tub and a cozy seating area overlooking the garden, which is partially enclosed with hedging but not fully. Designated parking is available for two cars.
