Phoenix Cottage Praze an Beeble Cornwall


Detached 2 bedroom 17th Century Cottage in 5 acres of secure fenced grounds. The self-catering cottage is located in Praze an Beeble near St Ives. Dogs and children very welcome, up to 4 dogs stay free of charge. Phoenix Cottage retains many original features like stone fireplaces and exposed beams, and is ideal for couples, families and dog owners who want to enjoy North Cornwall’s famous beaches and the wonderful countryside.

Within a five-minute walk is a favourite pub, the St Aubyn Arms, where they serve local beer and traditional pub food, and the bar and beer garden are dog-friendly. A shop can also be found just 5 minutes walk away. Dozens of dog friendly beaches 15 to 30 minutes drive from the cottage in all directions from this centrally located West Cornwall cottage. Short breaks available from November to March.

Dog Friendly Places - West Cornwall is a very dog friendly place with lots dog welcoming major attractions, gardens, beaches, pubs and restaurants.

  

Accommodation

Sleeps up to 5
Ground floor:

Relax in the cosy living and dining room with its inglenook fireplace and log burning stove. There's a pine table for eating at. Entertainment is by a flat screen TV with DVD player, comfortable leather Chesterfield sofa (which turns into a sofa bed for a fifth guest).
Sunny kitchen with a great mix of traditional country and contemporary charm with modern touches; electric range cooker, a dishwasher and there is another table to provide extra cooking space or to sit for breakfast. The owners have equipped the kitchen with a good selection of utensils, crockery and cutlery, and thoughtfully provided some basic non-perishable ingredients. Large French windows open onto the gravelled courtyard.

Upstairs:
A lovely antique double bed is the focal point of the master bedroom. The room has a high sloping ceiling with exposed beams and a deep window seat from which to admire the garden views. There are bedside tables and reading lights, two wardrobes and a wall-mounted television with DVD player. The twin bedroom has two single beds which can be zipped together to form a 5ft king size bed. A wardrobe and chest of drawers provide ample storage. A modern family shower room with a large shower, hand basin and WC is also on the first floor.

Outside space:
Phoenix Cottage sits in 5 acres of private grounds. The gardens are secure and the field is stock proof fence so you can let your dogs run around safely.
