Dog friendly holiday accommodation in Luxborough, Somerset. Converted from a farm building the property offers a cosy base in which to explore Exmoor national park. For dogs there's an Exercise area and Log fire to curl up in front of. Nestled in an idyllic valley between the Brendon Hills and the Exmoor coast and countryside. Dogs on lead around the cottage please due to a working farm. There will however be a field nearby where you can exercise your dog which is stock free. The garden is currently not enclosed on one side.

Accommodation

Harthanger View Cottage offers accommodation for up to 4 guests. The ground floor consists of an open plan kitchen and sitting room. One bedroom with a king size bed and its own bathroom (bath and separate shower) leads off this. The centre piece of the living room is a spiral staircase that leads up to a mezzanine area, which has two twin beds and an en-suite comprising a toilet and bath. Outside there is a newly completed patio with a picnic table.
The kitchen has an electric cooker, ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washer/dryer. The living area has a TV with DVD player and a wood burning stove. Logs are free. The cottage has oil-fired central heating throughout.
Due to the mezzanine area, the cottage is not suitable for small children.
The cottage is suitable for guests with restricted mobility as it can be accessed without having to use steps, through the back door. The downstairs bathroom has a separate walk-in shower.
