It provides a great base for exploring North Norfolk. There is also the award winning North Norfolk Coastal Path, which passes through the area and attracts walkers and birders wanting something extra special. During the months of March to October there are also several historic homes to visit, including the royal residence at Sandringham as well as National Trust properties at Blickling, Felbrigg and Holkham amongst others. Artists also love to visit, fascinated by the expansive Norfolk skies, cyclists for the ‘relative’ flatness and golfers for the various Royal coastal courses, whilst Cromer Lawn Tennis and Squash Club welcomes visiting players.e. Local landmarks and attractions include East Ruston Old Vicarage Garden, the Museum of the Broads in Stalham and BeWILDerwood Norfolk (all within 12 miles). The village is also perfect for exploring the Norfolk Broads, with Hickling Broad to the south (7.5 miles). Back along the coast you can visit the pretty village of Mundesley, the popular seaside resort of Cromer or spot the seal colony near Horsey Gap (all within 14.5 miles).

Open the door and stroll into the cottage to find yourselves in an inviting lounge/diner, with gentle seaside decor and a TV/DVD and CD player. Relax on the soft seating in here or gather around the table to play games or enjoy meals on the nights you choose to stay in. The kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker, fridge and microwave. A washing machine and tumble dryer can be found in an externally accessed utility room. Make your way up the steep, cottage-style stairs when it is time to turn in for the night to find one bedroom with a double bed and another with a 2’6” single, with restricted length, suitable only for a child. The family shower room, which is compact, is also up here. This has a shower cubicle and WC. Enjoy the courtyard garden, which is a good size for a small family.
