The Manse is a traditional Cumbrian town house situated in the interesting and bustling market town of Penrith. Pet friendly, 2 dogs welcome. The Manse is steeped in history and is attached to a former Methodist chapel dating back to 1815 and is a former School house.

The property itself is hidden behind several properties providing a quiet retreat. The Manse can be either a perfect base for exploring the Lake District or a warm, welcoming retreat for some rest and relaxation

The house itself comprises of a large lounge/diner with a magnificent open fire ideal for large gatherings or a more intimate setting if required. There is a farmhouse style kitchen leading to a private and enclosed yard. Downstairs is a gallery room where we have a bedroom with double bed on a mezzanine level. In the same room on the ground floor we have a double futon, bar and table football. Off this room is a newly appointed shower room and toilet. Upstairs in the property are two large double bedrooms tastfully decorated. There is a further bathroom with over-bath shower and toilet.
