The old watermill occupies a superb location by Walden Beck, with nearby waterfalls, pools and a pack horse bridge.  The waterfall pools provide swimming on the doorstep and fishing is permitted in season to resident holidaymakers.  Numerous footpaths cross the nearby dales and hills providing spectacular views and clean bracing air. A spacious and spectacular two floor apartment that has been imaginatively converted to incorporate all modern comforts and conveniences, yet retains outstanding original features.  Access can be from either the upper or lower level, and is down a small flight of stone steps to the upper level and down a further flight through the patio garden to the lower level.  On the upper level, entry is through a large gallery overlooking the double height main lounge area, and provides a unique view of the flagged patio and Walden Beck through a large arched window.  The gallery has two single beds and an adjacent bathroom and toilet.  A cast iron spiral staircase leads down to the open plan lounge and a spacious kitchen/dining area under the gallery.  Off the lounge are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two singles.  Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes.  The lounge also provides entry to a shower room with washbasin and toilet.  Leading from the kitchen is a pantry and a small drying room that houses the oil-fired central heating boiler.  Entry to the patio garden can be gained from a door in the kitchen or through double doors in the large arched window.  Certainly unique accommodation with comfortable furnishing and fitted carpets throughout.
