This period property which was once part of the Crown estate dates back to the 1850s and offers modern day comfort with the charm of years gone by. There are 3 bedrooms the smallest of which is really only suitable for a child of 11 or under. The Cottage The cottage offers a good sized lounge diner with red brick fireplaces, one of which has a working wood burning stove. The Kitchen offers a good range of utilities and there is a separate utility area. The bathroom has a cast iron bath with shower over, w/c and basin.The first floor offers a light and airy master bedroom with double bed. There is a good sized single bedroom with its own built in wardrobe. There is a third bedroom suitable for a child. There is a private, fully fenced rear garden with table and chairs. The Location Appledore is a very pretty village and offers a choice of pubs. The Black Lion offers excellent food and is well know for this locally. There is a grocery shop/post office, a good antique shop with various stalls and a good play field with swings etc. The World famous Historic towns of Rye and Tenterden are just 5 miles away and offer a fantastic range of restaurants, shops and facilities. The seaside is a 15 minute drive as is the minature railway at New Romney. The Royal Military Canal is a 2 minute walk and offers good fishing.
