Parking space on Parkham Road (a 10 minute walk away). Close to the centre and harbour. Pets allowed. Palm Cottage has a central location benefiting from easy access to the centre and harbour. There are 3 bedrooms and a sun trap patio, while the owner has provided an allocated parking space a 10 minute walk away up on Parkham Road. Living area The living room is situated on the ground floor and features a beamed ceiling, original iron and tile fireplace, 3 piece suite and corner storage. Entertainment is provided by a TV, DVD, video, radio/CD/cassette player with CDs and board games for the use of guests. Kitchen Information As with the living room, beamed ceilings are a feature. The well appointed kitchen has a washer, dishwasher, fridge, electric oven with gas hob set into the brick chimney breast, kettle, toaster and cafetiere. A door leads from the kitchen out to the rear courtyard with steps leading up to the patio Dining The kitchen/dining area has a pine table with 6 matching chairs. Sleeping Information Master Bedroom The master bedroom is situated on the 2nd floor with an outlook over the rooftops across Brixham. It features a metal frame double bed, pine wardrobe and two 5 drawer chests, 2 raffia chairs. En-suite bathroom. Bedroom Two Twin metal frame beds, built in cupboard and occasional z-bed, plus a dressing table, two 4 drawer oak chests with a 3 drawer unit between the beds. Bedroom Three Single bed, 3 drawer chest and chair with raffia seating. Bathroom Information Main Bathroom The main bathroom is also situated on the first floor, including a bath with shower mixer tap, w.c. and wash basin with towel rail over the radiator. En-suite to Master Bedroom This includes a shower stall and curtain, w.c. and wash basin, as well as a wicker chair, cabinet and towel rail. Outside Information The cottage has a paved and pebble patio accessed from the ground floor up some steps with a table and six chairs - an ideal sun trap or al-fresco eating area. Collection and dropping off can be made directly outside the house. A designated parking space has been provided up on Parkham Road, a 10 minute walk away.   Additional photos Local Area Brixham is a quaint fishing town and with its cafés, bars, shops and restaurants, including the fish restaurants serving the daily local catches, it’s no wonder this is a favourite destination for people of all ages. While fishing is Brixham’s main industry, it is also reinventing itself as an upmarket tourist resort, with quality food shops such as the Brixham Deli, cafés such as Number 11, and bar’s such as the Yard Arms. The focal point of the harbour gives the town a continental feel, especially in the summer, when you can sit outside and enjoy fish which has been caught that very morning.
