Maenporth beach, which can be reached simply by crossing the road, provides water sports, safe swimming, a beach cafe and the fantastic Cove Bar and Grill. If you are bringing your dog and he/she is a keen swimmer, then you will not be able to go on Maenporth Beach from Easter to 1st October as a dog ban applies, so instead take the coastal path and in twenty minutes you will be on the peaceful, secluded Meudon Beach, where your dog can swim to it's hearts content.
