Ferrymans is a small development of just 12 houses built to a traditional design and specification in local Hamstone and render with natural stone quoins and reconstructed stone sills. The properties are located at Hillhead, between Brixham and Dartmouth. They are 2 miles from Brixham, 5 miles from Paignton and 3 miles from Dartmouth via the ferry. The location provides rural views to the front down the Dart Valley and some sea views to the rear. There is good local walking on the South West Coastal Path. Please note that a maximum of 2 cars can be accommodated within the development and that one car must be parked in the property's garage. Living Information- Located on the first floor with lovely views over the Dart Valley. Furnished to a high standard. 1x corner sofa and 2x leather armchairs. Entertainment is provided by a TV with Playstation and games. Kitchen Information- Kitchen The kitchen is located towards the rear of the dining area overlooking the garden. Fully fitted with a washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge, microwave and double electric oven with hob. Dining- The dining table is behind the living area and has six matching chairs. There is also a high chair. Sleeping Information - Master Bedroom Located on the ground floor with a double bed and chest of drawers. There is a connecting door to the bathroom. Bedroom Two There is a double bed, wardrobe and wicker chair. Bedroom Three - This room has twin beds and a cabinet. The second floor landing has a built in wardrobe cupboard. Bedroom Four/2nd Lounge- Located on the ground floor with 2x two seater sofabeds, which convert into 2x double beds. There is also a TV with video and a connecting door leading to the bathroom. There are patio doors leading to the rear garden. A cot is available for use by guests in this property. You can also take a boat trip to Torquay and Brixham, taking in more of the spectacular coastline. Kingswear village is a quiet retreat and comprises a village store, a post office, and a few pubs and restaurants. The Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway finishes here and is a step back in time to a forgotten era. It runs from April to October and on selected days in December for special Christmas trips, and cuts through some of the most beautiful countryside on the English Riviera. Close by is the National Trust property, Coleton Fishacre, an Arts and Crafts-style house with an elegant Art Deco-influenced interior.
