Gulls Nest is a Brixham cottage of the highest standard, complete with a fascinating history combined with a luxury modern interior and a warm welcome.
The property was home the Captain Schjonnerman in the late 19th Century, who sailed the world trading raw materials before setting up a navigation school in Hill House, part of which is now Gulls Nest. The cottage sits on the side of the hill, overlooking Brixhams harbour, fishing port and marina with far reaching views across Torbay and out to sea.
A designated parking space is provided for your convenience down on the harbour. The town centre of Brixham and the harbour are 1 minute away down the hill, where the attractions and harbour front restaurants offer tempting fish dishes. Refurbished to a very high standard, achieving a five Highly Commended award in the 2004/5 South West Tourism Awards. Upon arrival you will find fresh flowers in the property along with freshly baked scones or muffins, as well as coffee tea, milk, bread and butter.
