The Garden Wing is part of The Sanctuary, a beautiful Georgian stone built house, formerly the rectory serving Mawnan parish church. The adjoining house is occupied by the owners and set in a sheltered two acre garden on the north side of the Helford estuary. Guests are welcome to use both the front and walled garden. There is also a lawn area to the front of the property with a picnic table for your exclusive use. Vegetables: The Sanctuary has a walled garden, some of which is used for growing vegetables. These are available for visitors. The owners run a very relaxed system, where you can pick your own vegetables, weigh them and pay at the end of your stay.

Internally the cottage has a charming, shabby chic feel. And as such was recently used by the clothing company, Boden, as a back drop for a photo shoot. With oil-fired central heating and an open fire, it is a cosy retreat whatever the weather.

The Accommodation
Sitting Room : A light spacious room with open fire, comfortable seating, wooden floor and rugs.

Kitchen/dining room : is well equipped with ample storage space, dishwasher, microwave, etc. and has a slate floor, pine table with benches and windows looking onto the garden.

Utility/drying room : incorporates a shower and lavatory. (Please note the washing and drying facilities are shared with the main house but not the shower/lavatory unit.)

Master Bedroom : 5ft (king size) bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe /hanging space, waxed floorboards and view over field to the church.

Bedroom 2 : with twin beds, chest of drawers and wardrobe/hanging space. This room also has a bookcase and cupboards with games.

Bedroom 3 : Twin beds, looking over the garden at the back of the house, chest of drawers and wardrobe/hanging space.

Bedroom 4 : Double Bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe/hanging space.

Bathroom : comprising WC, bath and basin.

Parking : There is parking for 2 cars, (more by arrangement). Once you have unpacked your car we would be grateful if you could use the parking spaces provided leaving the front of the house a car free zone

This holiday accommodation is pet friendly, dogs allowed, cats allowed and small caged animals allowed
