Why not try Family boating on the Norfolk Broads, you'll be amazed by how much your dog will love it!
Many dogs love water but fact is they would probably happier stay on the boat than jump in every 5 minutes. We personally would make our dog wears a life jacket, but this would be more in case they fell in and needed to be lifted out of the water quickly. Having a boating holiday with your dog is safer than you think, your dog will get to spend quality time with you and you get to watch your dog as they take in the beautiful scenery along the river. If your dog is anything like ours they would probably sleep most of the day, only getting up when you moor your boat for walks or food along the way.
Canal Boats & Narrowboats
It's idyllic for dogs - slow pace and towpaths make it an ideal place to take your dog for a walk. Canal boats travel at a very slow pace so you can walk your dog and take in the scenery whilst keeping up with your boat, when you have walked far enough, just hope back on and let the narrowboat take the strain. You can pretty much moor almost anywhere and with pubs that welcome dogs along the route, it make the perfect holiday choice.!Hoseasons offers a huge selection of boats to hire, from cruisers to narrow boats. All paws on deck! holidays afloat for your four-legged friend!
