The caravan is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the South Hams area, close to Bigbury on Sea, Burgh Island. Thurlestone to Salcombe area and Kingsbridge. Challaborough Beach is a sheltered horse shoe shaped cove made up of excellent fine sand within less than a minute walking from the Holiday Home with direct access to this beach, the beach has been awarded the Blue Flag award. The Beach has views of Burgh Island, beautiful blue seas and easy access for pushchairs or those with mobility issues. Life guards patrol the beach at high season. Ideal for young children and those that love water sports.

It is an Atlas Topaz Caravan Holiday Home It has 2 bedrooms, the master bedroom has an ensuite shower which includes a small bath . It sleep 5 as there is also a sofa bed in the lounge. Separate guest toilet and sink room The lounge has free, feature fireplace with gas fire, TV etc Blown Air Central Heating Kitchen/Diner with fitted oven and hob and built in fridge freezer. Large decking area with gate to enclose it, ideal for children or pets Sea and Country Views Tesco will deliver your food shop here It’s the nearest Caravan (the valley side) to the beach which has the good views of Burgh Bay and Burgh Island. It’s a super premium plot and is on Sea View We provide duvets and pillows but ask that you bring duvet covers, sheets and pillowcases, towels and tea towel. On site Facilities: On site facilities include an Indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, solarium, & fitness suite. There is also a Kid`s Club and a separate Amusement Centre & Children`s playrooms with Ball Pool. There is also a Surf Shop, a groceries shop which also rents out DVD`s, There is a very handy launderette. The Bar and Restaurant (which also has FREE WI-FI) overlooks the sandy beach cove and has tables, chairs and parasols where you can sit and relax whilst enjoying a meal or a drink. Passes are required for some attractions

Dog Friendly Places - There is a dog exercise field at the Park. We have a large enclosed decked area with sea and country views. This is ideal for a doggie sun bath and for you to relax with your pet and have a drink. Though dogs are not permitted on Challaborough Beach from (MAY to SEPT).
We being dog owners walk along the coast path to the left to Bigbury on Sea where there are dog allowed areas on the beach or alternatively we walk to the right, along the South west coast path to Aymer Cove owned by the national trust and is dog friendly, or just keep on the coast path to WestCombe Beach.
Keep going on the same coast path to Womwell Beach and you can catch a view of the stunning Mothecombe Estuary beach used for filming in the Sense and Sensibility film and Hornblower. Going to the right of the coastline with our family pet we like Thurlestone and South Molton Beach. There is also Bantham and around the corner to the estuary side, where there are fewer people, dogs are allowed all year round. There is also North Sands beach near Salcombe and Soar Cove which is very pet friendly. We like going into Salcombe and going on the boat ferry with our dog to East Portlemouth, Mill Bay etc. We also love the Avon Estuary walks in the TOBY’S Dog Friendly dog walk book of South Devon and we keep a copy of this at the holiday home just for Doggie Mums and Dads. Dogs are allowed at Hope Cove but must be on a lead.
