Dart Vale is a superb refurbished dog friendly holiday bungalow, situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty in a small development of privately owned holiday bungalows. Set in an idyllic location, on the edge of Galmpton Village, between Brixham & Paignton, & within walking distance of a great dog friendly pub and general store/post office

We are surrounded by great doggy walking countryside where you can decide how far you want to go! Beaches such as the blue flag Broadsands are within 1.5 miles

Accommodation

This property has been thoughtfully converted to provide 1 large bedroom and sleeps up to 2 (plus space for travel cot or ready bed). The interior presentation is excellent, with a modern spacious feel. Lounge/diner, kitchen & shower room. River Dart views from the patio which has table/chairs and sunloungers

Local Area - We are situated 3 miles from Brixham, 4 miles from Paignton and 7 miles from Torquay. Agatha Christie's former home 'Greenway House' is open to the public (National Trust) and is a fabulous day out. You can take your dog in the lovely wooded garden (on leads). The steam train from Paignton to Kingswear passes nearby and you can see the puffs of steam as it chugs past. This is another wonderful day out, and, once at Kingswear you can cross the water to Dartmouth which is beautiful. Dogs are allowed on the steam train too

Dog Friendly Places - The local pub the Manor Inn is half a mile away and is dog friendly. Churston Court hotel bar is also dog friendly. Greenway Gardens (NT) allow dogs on a lead. Country/coastal walks abound. Goodrington (North) Beach is dog friendly all year, and Elberry Cove
